Usher Ministry
The Usher Ministry renders service to the Pastor, church congregants and visiting church worshipers, so that church services are orderly to enhance the ministry of God’s word and the Holy Spirit. The effective usher is a ”people person”, who inspires all worshipers to feel welcome and appreciated. By doing so, ushers contribute greatly to ensure that everyone’s church experience is positive.
Outreach Project
The Usher Ministry has adopted Lansing Elementary School as its outreach project. We contact the school regarding the need for school supplies and provide them for the students that are unable to purchase them.
Mission Statement
- Strives to serve God’s people in a way that would be pleasing to Him
- Conduct meetings in a spiritual manner , with a devotional period
- Pray before taking our stations each Sunday
- Gather to fellowship and encourage each other
- Show love and compassion for all church members, with sympathy, encouragement, get-well cards and prayers
- Mentor our youth usher in a Godly manner
Our Standard Events
A monthly meeting the 1st Monday of each month.
Attendance at the regional school of ushering by-weekly.
Summer fellowship picnic and annual Christmas fellowship.
