Youth Ministry

The Youth Ministry exists to invite our youth into a fruitful relationship with Christ. With salvation being our first priority; we will develop our youth in Christ and equip them with the tools that they need to lead Christ-centered lives. We will actively educate and engage them in discipleship, evangelism, relationship building and stewardship, as well as personal and corporate praise, worship and prayer. Educating our youth will be on the forefront of the ministry’s agenda. Through a sound biblical education curriculum, our youth will learn to function with a biblical world view (Colossians 1:28, I Timothy 3:15-17). This will ensure that they are not only getting a high quality education, but that our youth are demonstrating Godly standards in their daily walk (Proverbs 22:6, I Timothy 3:4).
Youth Ministry Request
It is imperative that we establish a level of accountability that reaches beyond the church walls. Thank you for partnering with the L3C Youth Ministry in assuring that we train up disciples (Matthew 28:19) that will “…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks them to give the reason for the hope that they have…” (1 Peter 3:15).Youth Pastor Tracy Smith is requesting all parents to please submit your youth’s report card for the first nine weeks of the school year. The goal of the Youth Ministry is to set up a system of accountability as well as recognize our youth for performing well in school, and also to set up a plan of action for those who are not. The Scripture verse for LCCC’s Youth Ministry is 1 Timothy 4: 12: Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Please put the report cards in Pastor Smith’s mail box (back office), or scan and email copies to youth@lowrychurch.org
Mission Statement
We will train up disciples (Matthew 28:19) that will “…Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks [them] to give the reason for the hope that [they] have…” (1 Peter 3:15). This in turn will help them to have a strong witness and testimony allowing them to be audacious in their approach to evangelize the lost.
